5 BALANCE SUPPORTING PRACTICES FOR STAY-AT-HOME MOMS BUILDING A PSYCHIC BUSINESs
Let's dive right into balance supporting practices to nurture your spirit as you nurture your business.
Be your first client of the day
You are the first client of the day, start your day with a balance ritual that lights you up.
A simple balance ritual:
Example: "Today, I allow Spirit to flow through me, I FULLY accept myself as I AM."
If you're still half-asleep making bottles or chasing a toddler, you can choose a song that gives you goose bumps or find a mantra that resonates with you on YOUTUBE. Toddlers love a good dance party!
Remember, self-compassion is NOT dependent upon your monthly revenue. Whether you have 1 client or 1,000 clients, practice setting an intention for the day. Send love to your whole self the moment you open your beautiful eyes.
Create space to be yourself
You have the freedom to manifest the life you want.
This is YOUR business. Do what's comfortable for you and your ideal clients.
I'm a girl who loves Batman T-shirts. My clients know, pajamas are always welcome.
Say what? Yes-girl-yes!
My clients are super relieved they don't have to get camera-ready or apologize if their baby is crying or their dog is barking in a middle of a session. Clients are always welcome to come as they are.
Embrace play time with a child-like spirit.
Balance Supporting Tips:
SET office hours THAT WORK BEST FOR YOUR UNIQUE FAMILY
If you need help with creating a self-care plan that honors your boundaries (read this post) .
Just like your business is unique, your family is unique.
Maybe you prefer to offer readings at night, early in the morning, or around your child's nap schedule.
There's no rule that says you must work between nine and five.
Offering online readings provides a lot of flexibility for you to choose a schedule that works best for you and your unique family.
Balance supporting tips:
Connect with other mompreneurs
Working from home can feel lonely and isolating. Many social media platforms offer private groups for spiritual entrepreneurs. Trust your intuition as you reach out to other moms. What common interests do you share outside of business? You can also check out local meetup groups if you're craving off-line connections.
stay in the present moment
You have readings to prepare for, the laundry is piling up, dinner needs to be cooked, diapers need to be changed and you're stepping on toys, OUCH! Take a moment to respond to yourself in a curious & loving way.
Be gentle with yourself
Instead of beating yourself up about the laundry, get curious about your expectations as you peel back the layers of overwhelm in a loving way.
